Trading cards in the Madden 24 Ultimate Team mode can be profitable if done correctly. The key is buying cards at a lower price and selling them for a profit, which is surprisingly similar to an actual free market. To increase your chances of getting more Madden 24 MUT Coins, here are some tips to help you find and buy cards for a profit in MUT 24 Auction House.
Method 1: The Refresh Method
This method is the most mind-numbing and also easiest. Your goal in the refresh is to pick some AH filters and just constantly refresh every 5 seconds, hoping to see a card first and buy it before anyone else can. Once you put your filters on, you should have the cheapest player cards in front of you. If there is no cheap pop-up, you do it repeatedly until you find one! As fast as you can, you scroll to that card and click buy it now. This method is effective for guaranteed coins with no risk, but also very time-consuming. Using refresh, you are looking at 20k to 50k per hour in profits, depending on your luck/speed/internet speed.
Method 2: The Cycle Method
This one required a little more AH knowledge but is often a much better profit margin than the refresh method. There are also a couple of different strategies for doing this. For example, on the sets menu, you go through each collectible. If you see any for ~20% lower than any other card posted, you buy that card and post it just below the lowest price. You cycle through all of the sets, usually hitting on a good price for about 1/10 pieces, which at about 2k profit each was between 50k and 100k in profit per hour.
Method 3: The Sort by New Method
This method, which is the one usually goes to, is to rely more upon AH knowledge to get good prices. That strategy revolves around the higher priced cards and getting filters with less than 100 cards total to show up but with many different cards in each filter. You can tell you've drilled down enough if an uneven number of cards is at the end of the screen. The goal is to go through the filters where cards are being posted frequently and sort by New to be the one that sees them first. You must have a good history and knowledge of the AH to do this, as the comparison between cards isn't right next to you as it is with the Cycle and Refresh.
Method 4: The Bid Method
That's bidding on cards instead of Buy it Now (BIN). The problem with this method is that 99.9% of the time, the cards do not slip through unnoticed, and you end up in a time-consuming bidding war with someone else, preventing you from doing the other more profitable AH methods. That doesn't mean don't bid. It means DON'T GET IN BIDDING WARS. You can go through and throw a bid in on any cards that are like 10k Bid / 25k BIN cards that are worth 20k. You can go back and bid again with 1 minute less, but that's it. Three bids maximum, and then you can out. That way, you get the occasional big win and don't lose large chunks of time to cards you have less than a 50% chance of winning.
Trading in MUT 24 needs patience, market knowledge, and sometimes a bit of luck. It's a bit like playing the stock market. Not every transaction will yield a profit, but with persistence and a keen eye for good deals, you can make a good amount of MUT 24 coins through trading.
